Dive Into Reading!

This school year, reading makes a splash as at the Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library! Starting Saturday, September 5, stop by the Youth Services Department to pick up your Dive Into Reading tracker. Then, fill out your reading tracker by reading books, coming to Dive Into Reading programs, and more! When you have five stamps, bring it back to the library for a chance to win a trip to the Grand Bear Resort. There will be winners for different prizes all school year long, including trips to Legoland Discovery Center and a day at Sky Zone, with our grand prize waterpark in May. You can enter as many trackers as you want! Check our program calendar and brochure to see which programs qualify as Dive Into Reading.

Just for You! Books and Treats Surprise Program

Receive a special bag filled with a book and treats! Answer a few questions, and we will pick out a book and some treats meant just for you! For kids from birth - 8th grade. Children must have a valid AMP Library Card to register. Registration is currently closed, and will reopen on Saturday, September 5.
