2024 Youth Programming

REGISTRATION

Programs are first come, first served, unless otherwise stated.  Children with a valid AMPL card may check-in 15 minutes before the scheduled program time to pick up a nametag.  Space is limited in many of the classes so please arrive early. Our classes are generally 30 minutes in length and process oriented. They begin promptly at the designated time. Youth Services offers a variety of classes for children from birth (with caregiver) through junior high. These include storytimes, afterschool programs, art classes, cooking classes and many evening and weekend classes.  We also offer volunteering opportunities for those children in 5th-8th grade.  There is something for everyone at the Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library!

Just for You! Books and Treats Surprise Program

Receive a special bag filled with a book and treats! Answer a few questions, and we will pick out a book and some treats meant just for you! For kids from birth - 8th grade. Children must have a valid AMP Library Card to register. Limit 1 bag/program session. You can register in person at the Youth Services Reference Desk or online by clicking here.
